Join us for an empowering day of professional development  at the Women & Leadership Luncheon in Montreal. This in-person event is an opportunity to connect with women in leadership and business from various industries. Network, share experiences, and gain valuable insights from inspiring speakers. Be a part of a supportive community that celebrates women's advancement and achievements in business. 

The luncheon is a full day recognized professional development event and open to all regardless of gender identification.

Attendees are business and corporate professionals and senior leaders representing some of Montreal's leading organizations in an array of industries. 

Networking takes place in both English and French and presentations are delivered in English to accommodate guests from English Canada.

Jessica is a results oriented intrapreneur, skilled in creating innovative strategies to drive revenue profitably, while empowering teams to outpace targets and achieve collective success.

 

Through her career, Jessica has developed notable commercial experience through her various sales positions on drug, wholesale and mass merchant retailers across Canada.

Emily Kaufer, serving as the Senior Director of Human Rights and Harassment at Air Canada, has been an integral part of the company since 2014. During her tenure, she pioneered the establishment of Air Canada’s Human Rights and Harassment Office (“HRHO”) and currently holds the responsibility of managing the department’s portfolios for Canada, the United States and international.   

 

With a comprehensive background, Emily excels in conducting impartial workplace investigations, specializing in cases involving allegations of harassment, bullying, sexual harassment and violence, and workplace misconduct. A graduate of the Faculty of Law - McGill University, and a member of the Quebec bar since 2012, Emily actively contributes to the field. She is a prominent member of the Association of Workplace Investigators (AWI). She has held key positions, including serving on the Board of Directors and acting as the Chair of the Canadian Committee. Emily successfully completed AWI's ANSI accredited certificate program, earning the designation “AWI-CH.”

 

Emily has presented at both domestic and international forums on various critical topics, including establishing best practices for workplace investigations in the #Metoo era, and on addressing Canadian Federal sector investigations under the Work Place Harassment and Violence Prevention Regulations. Emily has experience in strategic planning, employee coaching, developing and delivering training and conflict resolution. Emily’s multifaceted skills and legal background make her a respected figure in her field.

Katja Boutou plays a pivotal role at Rocket Science Development and operates her own consulting firm, leveraging her international experience from living in 11 countries and raising her family in three.

Her ability to rapidly build networks across diverse cultural and linguistic settings is exceptional. With 17 years in the GCC region, her expertise in AI and strategic business development is extensive. Katja excels in creating and managing multinational teams, and she is currently assembling a fully remote, international team for Rocket Science Development, a Montreal-based AI consulting start- up.

 

Beyond her professional achievements, Katja is dedicated to volunteering for her children's activities and mentoring emerging start- ups, reflecting her comprehensive and influential engagement in both her career and community.
